SUBJECT: EVENING PEAK LOAD HOURS RESTRICTIONS ON THE INDUSTRIES – PENALITIES FOR NON COMPLIANCE OF INSTRUCTIONS ( WHERE ELECTRONIC ENERGY METERS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED).
In continuation to this office P.R.Circular No. 07/99 dated 28.09.99, it is clarified that the date of First Default Block shall start from the date of first violation. For example if any violation is made say on 20.04.2003 then the First Default Block shall be from 20.04.2003 to 19.06.2003 and the 2nd Default Block shall be from 20.6.2003 to 19.08.2003 and subsequent Default blocks shall be from 20.08.2003 & onwards and so on. If the consumer does not make any violation during the period of 2nd Default Block i.e. from 20.06.2003 to 19.08.2003 then the First Default Block shall start a-fresh from the date of violation (made on or after 20.08.2003) as stated above.
It has further been decided that all those cases which stands decided shall not be re-opened and all the pending cases shall be dealt according to the said clarification.
The above said clarification shall become effective from the date of issue of these instructions. All other terms & conditions of P.R.Circular No. 07/99 dated 28.09.99 shall remain unaltered.
