TENDER NOTICE
Applications are invited from different firms for registration with GGSSTP, Ropar for execution of following job :
“On Line Leak Sealing” job BY FURMANITE process ON VARIOUS pipes and valves of 6×210 MW units at GGSSTP, Ropar.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION
1. Only those firms may apply for registration for above job who have sufficient experience in “On Line Leak Sealing” by Furmanite process on various pipes & valves of 110 MW and above with NTPC/SEB’s & they will have to submit documentary proof of satisfactory execution of the jobs.
2. The registration fee is Rs.1000/- for jobs costing above Rs.2.0 Lacs. The cost shall be remitted (non-refundable) in cash or through demand draft in favour of AO/O&M, GGSSTP, PSEB, Ropar payable at Ropar.

- The firm seeking registration should be registered with EPF Commissioner and intimate its independent EPF Account No. The firm will given an undertaking in the form of an affidavit that their firm does not have any dispute with R.P.F.C. regarding deposit of EPF of employees for the works executed by it and is complying with all the regulation of EPF Act applicable from time to time.
- The firm will also comply with all the provisions of ESI Act.
- The firm will comply with the provisions of Service Tax Act.
4. The firms/Contractor will have to get a license under Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act, 1970 before start of work in case 20 or more workers are to be engaged on work if any allotted to it.
5.The contractor will have to abide by all Labour Laws such as Factory Act, 1948, Minimum wages Act. Workmen Compensation Act, Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act, 1970 etc.
6.Registration does not mean in any way that the contractor is automatically qualified for issue of tender documents. For issue of tender document, other conditions of NIT have to be fulfilled and he will have to compete with other eligible contractors to get the work order.
7. Contractor applying for registration should be financially sound and produce bank solvency certificate at the time of registration. They should also indicate their annual turnover during last three years.
8.The registration authority reserves the right to refuse for registration without assigning any reasons. In case of any dispute, the decision of CE/GGSSTP, Ropar shall be final.
9.The firm while registering may also indicate maximum amount of order they can execute at GGSSTP.
10.Registration shall be valid for two year from the date of registration.
