In order to provide more better consumers services to Mohali circle PSPCL has tie up with French based MNC namely Teleperformance firm to resolve power supply related complaints of the consumers .
At a simple but impressive ceremony, Shri A.Venu Prasad IAS Principal Secretary Power Punjab Govt. cum CMD PSTCL flagged off well equipped Complaint Handling Bikes here today. Er Baldev Singh Sran CMD PSPCL , Er NK Sharma Director Distribution, Er HS Boparai Chief Engineer South, Er. Ravinder Singh Saini Deputy Chief Engineer were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Shri A.Venu Prasad disclosed that MNC is currently providing its services in 80 countries around the world. He said that 90 CHB (Complaint Handling Bikes) has been deployed for Mohali Circle area. Each CHB team will have two expert Technicians equipped with a special type of uniform and latest equipment. He said that junior engineer of PSPCL will also be present during night shift for better monitoring of complaints of consumers.
He added that apart from this, 3 No Vans has been provided to Mohali Zirakpur and Lalru Divisions consisting a team of 4 persons each for 24 hours. Similarly, a special Hydraulic vehicle with staff of 8 has been deployed by the PSPCL at Mohali Circle level. This vehicle will facilitate during inevitable situations like storms etc when the trees fall on the HT/LT Lines and Poles. He informed that all the complaints regarding electricity will be registered at earlier numbers i.e 1912 and PSPCL consumer services App for which the supervision will be done by the PSPCL.
Speaking on this occasion Er.Baldev Singh Sran CMD ,PSPCL said that consumer is the King for any organization and foremost requirement is to provide prompt quality service to our consumers and survival for consumer, PSPCL and firm. To provide quality efficient service to consumers PSPCL has hired professional company like MNC .
He referred about past experience is that contractors were not paying provide proper Training & Placement to employees and as a result working conditions were at times hazardous.
Er.B.S.Sran stressed that Four S are main hallmark of this chain that is workmen providing service with Smile to the consumer are in turn assured of Safety through proper Personal Protective Equipment and rightful salary for service they render. So these Four S are most essential but icing on cake is another S that is sincerity in Service and organization expects same from the new company hired to handle consumer complaints.
Er.N.K.Sharma Director Distribution stressed that it is the duty of the firm to ensure that all complaints of the consumers must be attended and give a proper feedback to the complaints and ensure the proper safety measures for the employees safety.
Earlier MNC gave a presentation about their company and elaborated about their services in the different fields .
