.SDO and JE of the sub division visited the site immediately and collected the evidence . The vested interest of the farmer was to take compensation from PSPCL.

In another case one person from Village  Kalomajra near Jansla  informed SDO Banur that the wheat crop had caught fire and they controlled the situation but when SDO Banur along with JE and staff reached the location nothing had happened there and no fire incident had taken place .

PSPCL has taken a very serious view of the such incidents. PSPCL has written to the DC and SSP Mohali to take appropriate action against the erring persons.

PSPCL has appealed to the farmers of the Punjab to cooperate and take care of the power infrastructure while the  harvesting with combines and  also do  not  set the wheat straw in the fire which leads to environmental pollution and possibility of  fear of loss of life / property.Issued by Dy.Secy./Public Relations, PSPCL, PatialaPress Note  51  Dated April 11,2019
